Intelligent Robotics Lab (IntRo)

Welcome to the Intelligent Robotics Lab (IntRo) at UNIST. Our lab focuses on developing intelligent robots by combining modern control theory, robot vision, and robot learning.

We aim to build robotic systems that can move effectively and interact skillfully within complex, real-world environments. Our main research includes vision-based manipulation, dynamic locomotion for walking and snake-like robots, and the design and control of continuum and soft robots for navigating and operating in constrained or delicate environments.

We have several openings for talented MS and PhD candidates. As a founding member of our lab, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our research direction and culture. If you have a passion for robotics and a background or strong interest in relevant fields (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, CS, etc.), we encourage you to get in touch. Please see our Contact page for application instructions.
